About Us
In 2004 Jenny’s father, Les Thorne suffered an attack of acute pancreatitis, an attack that would eventually claim his life.
At the time, Jenny and Bill knew very little about the condition and felt they and their family were not kept well-informed about the disease and its possible treatment and implications. This, they were to discover in the ensuing years, was often a typical experience for many with this debilitating condition. Following Les’ passing, they have committed themselves to improving awareness about pancreatitis.
Jenny and Bill are not medical professionals, however they have spent considerable time researching and writing about health matters. Jenny works in education and Bill has over 20 years experience in the health and wellness industry. They currently live in Queensland, Australia.
